Recommended for dogs and cats 6 months or older
1) CO2 Organically grown Hemp Extract (500+ mg cannabidiol (CBD)/ fluid oz) emulsified in 2) Organic cold pressed hemp seed oil and 3) 100% Pure Coconut Oil, 4) 80% Hemp Oil-20% Coconut Oil Ratio.
Unlike fish oil, hemp seed oil contains the perfect ratio of Omega-6 (linoleum acid) to Omega-3 (alpha linolenic acid) fatty acids. These are essential fatty acids, meaning your dog or cat can’t produce them and needs to get them in his diet. A good balance of these Omega oils is critical to your dog’s health because they work synergistically in the body.Hemp seeds are also high in an essential Omega-6 fatty acid called gamma linolenic acid (GLA). That’s important because there’s some really good reasons to boost the GLA in your dog or cats diet: Content naturally, without the concern for heavy metals or refridgeration.
Many of the health benefits of coconut oil for humans also apply to animals.
- “Coconuts are an excellent source of nutrition and have healthful meat, juice, and oil. The oil is arguably the most nutritious and has many health benefits. Coconut oil is over 90% saturated fat and has antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.
- Coconut oil also has antioxidant properties and it helps in the absorption of other minerals.
- Coconut oil is an incredible source of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs), which have been shown to have many health benefits.
- Lauric acid in coconut oil in combination with oregano oil, has even been found more effective in fighting the staph bacteria than antibiotics. Lauric acid has also been shown to be preventative against some cancers. Coconut Oil is over 40% lauric acid, the richest source naturally available.”
NOTE: All blends contain both organic hemp and organic hempseed oil. But our PET blends have a higher ratio difference to adapt to their special needs.
OUR PRODUCTS DO NOT CONTAIN ANY REAL SNAKE OIL. ITS JUST THE BRAND NAME.

CO2 Extraction,
Because the CO2 extraction used to make our Rattlesanke oils yields a full spectrum extract, our hemp extracts contain over 80 different phyto-cannabinoids, including CBC, CBG, CBG-A, CBC-A, CBN and many others. In addition to the cannabinoids naturally present in our agricultural hemp extracts, there are also many other types of natural molecules and phyto-chemical compounds such as amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins (including B1, B2, B6, D), fatty acids (including omega 3 & 6), trace minerals (including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium), beta-carotene, chlorophyll, flavanoids, ketones, nitrogenous compounds, alkanes, glycosides, pigments, water, and terpenes. The most common terpenes in our hemp extracts are Myrcene, Beta-caryophyllene, Terpinolene, Linalool, alpha-Pinene, beta-Pinene, Nerolidol og Phytol, trans-alpha-Bergamotene, Limonene/ beta-Phellandrene (Co-elution), and alpha-Humulene. Organic Raw Hemp Oil is created using very low temperature and high pressure. In essence, it’s the ‘juicing’ of the hemp plants, which forms a concentrated, superfood supplement. The oil has unique properties because it contains CBD (cannabidiol) in a carboxylic acid form, known as CBDa also called CBD Acid.
Hemp,
because of it’s innate ability to thrive so easily doesn’t require pesticides (the aromatic terpene compounds in hemp can actually act as natural pesticides), fertilizers, or herbicides in it’s cultivation, and requires much less water than standard commercial farming. The hemp we use is grown under the same methods and standards of organic farming.
CBD+,
We understand all the craze about cannabidiol (CBD) and CBD oil, but when investigating/using Rattlesnake Oil, keep in mind that CBD is not the only constituent as it’s a full-spectrum CO2 extract. It certainly has CBD, as most industrial hemp is naturally abundant in this, but it’s also made of other naturally occurring cannabinoids from agricultural hemp, including CBG, CBN, CBC, CBD, CBG-A, CBC-A, and dozens of others, as well as other nutritional constituents such as terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, fatty acids, trace minerals, and proteins. ‘CBD oil’ may contain only isolated/synthetic CBD in a base oil, but Rattlesnake Oil contains over 80 naturally occurring cannabinoids and hundreds of other constituents, which not all ‘CBD oil’ has.
Hemp History
"Ratlesnake Oil" (Hemp CBD oil) is extracted from a plant called Hemp. Hemp is one nature’s most nutritionally complete sources of food and health promoting agents, used throughout the world for many thousands of years. Our research has found hemp to be a staple part of history in some of the world’s longest living countries, also known as the “centurion hotspots” or “blue zones” like Okinawa in Japan, where they have abnormally large numbers of the population free from disease, living long healthy lives and regularly reaching 100 years old and beyond. These few countries all have one thing in common, a diet rich in healthy plant oils, plant medicines and hemp foods. The hemp plant’s omega 3-6-9 ratio is perfect for the human body, great for the heart and brain, clearly two very important organs. No other plant comes close to the immense nutritional properties of this plant. Hemp is currently being utilized as a source of food, fuel, paper, fibre and plant medicine. Its versatility is unrivalled throughout nature and the plant can grow from seed to harvest in as little as 100 days with absolutely no need for pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones or chemical fertilizers. This really does leave room for hemp to change the planet for the better, whether as an alternative source of paper and fuel, or a natural aid in treating a range of ailments. We encourage you to do your own research on CBD and the health benefits of hemp. A quick internet search will unveil the full health benefits associated with hemp supplementation.
CBD is non-psychoactive
Unlike THC, CBD does not cause a high. While this makes CBD a poor choice for recreational users, it gives the chemical a significant advantage as a medicine, since health professionals prefer treatments with minimal side effects.
CBD is non-psychoactive because it does not act on the same pathways as THC. These pathways, called CB1 receptors, are highly concentrated in the brain and are responsible for the mind-altering effects of THC.
A 2011 review published in Current Drug Safety concludes that CBD “does not interfere with several psychomotor and psychological functions.” The authors add that several studies suggest that CBD is “well tolerated and safe” even at high doses.
3. CBD has a wide range of medical benefits
Although CBD and THC act on different pathways of the body, they seem to have many of the same medical benefits. According to a 2013 review published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, studies have found CBD to possess the following medical properties:
Medical Properties of CBD Effects Antiemetic Reduces nausea and vomiting Anticonvulsant Suppresses seizure activity Antipsychotic Combats psychosis disorders Anti-inflammatory Combats inflammatory disorders Anti-oxidant Combats neurodegenerative disorders Anti-tumoral/Anti-cancer Combats tumor and cancer cells Anxiolytic/Anti-depressant Combats anxiety and depression disorders
